Hi Friends, Happy Summer Holiday!! I hope everybody is enjoying their summer vacations. I enjoyed too. This year I went on a week vacation to Mysore, Ooty and Coonoor region, situated in Karnataka and Tamilnadu states of India. These places are really awesome. I really pleased to visit the eternal South Beauty of India. Mysore, as you might know, is more popular for its eternal celebration of age old traditions.
Actually there were no such celebrations, during my visit, but the grand festival starts in the months of October, named Dashahara, a 9 day celebration of victory of Lord Rama over one of cruelest king Ravana.
The great thing is I have been invited to join them for upcoming festivals in September.
My next destination was Ooty, the queen of Hills of Southern region of India. First impression wasn’t so impressive. Later on when I explored Ooty, I just couldn’t believe the awesome nature. I really enjoyed my 4 day stay in Ooty. I ate up all of 2 GB memory of my Canon 110X Powershot.
After enjoying Ooty, I moved to Coonoor, just 18 Km from Ooty. Another great romantic destination for couples, and honeymooners. I loved it so much.
I have planned couple of trips for this year. My next destination probably will be Pachmari, Madhya Pradesh.
